Getting Involved
Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in the life of our school. For example, parents and guardians organize a teacher appreciation luncheon in January, the major fundraiser Celebrate Northwest! in February, and the Senior Prom in May, as well as many other celebrations throughout the year. Groups like the Music Boosters, Athletics Boosters, and Dramateurs welcome parent and guardian involvement. Parents also assist with a variety of Admissions and Advancement events, such as the annual Open House, phonathons, the annual golf tournament, to name only a few. Serve pasta at a team supper, sell concessions performances, volunteer in the Spirit Shop, and discover a hundred other ways to get involved!
If you have questions about how to get involved, email Advancement at, [email protected].
Any parent or guardian interested in becoming a volunteer is expected to attend VIRTUS Training. VIRTUS is a national program created by the Catholic Church for all employees and volunteers working with children in schools and parishes. You may attend any date at any convenient location listed on the VIRTUS website. If you have already attended a VIRTUS Training session or have any questions regarding VIRTUS, please contact Katie Rose at [email protected].
