Northwest Catholic High School is searching for a dynamic mathematics teacher. Ability to teach Algebra I and II classes will be given preference.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to differentiate curriculum, teach multiple levels within a department, foster a positive work environment, and be a contributing member of our team. Preference will be given to those who possess strong leadership ability.

The candidate must be a practicing member of a faith community and demonstrate both a passion for and a deep understanding of their field of study. They should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in the field or have 24 credit hours in the primary content they will be teaching. Additionally, 12 hours of education classes or a valid state certificate in the content area is preferred.

The candidate should be committed to supporting high school students in both their spiritual and intellectual formation. They must be able to apply current principles, theories, methods, techniques, and strategies relevant to classroom instruction in their area of expertise. An understanding of, and willingness to use, curriculum design and mapping is essential.

Furthermore, the candidate should have a strong interest in and ability to utilize educational technology in the classroom, including the use of 1-1 iPad technology, Apple Classroom, and similar tools. While 1-3 years of experience in the field is preferred, a Master's Degree is also highly regarded.
